Bakersville artisan Sherrill Whitson has recently joined the roster of fine artists and craftsmen now exhibiting at Anita's Art Gallery. Shown is a finely crafted oak stand displaying a beautiful apple wood bowl. Sherrill's other works include exquisite jewelry boxes, bowls, lazy susans and unique serving pieces.
You may now find the exceptional ceramic work of Jann V. Welch of Bakersville, North Carolina at Anita’s Atelier. Jann’s work includes raku, horse hair/feather fired, functional ware and sculpture. Jann is an accomplished watercolorist, ceramist and a teacher as well.
Anita's Art Gallery is featuring a Special Exhibit of the beautiful watercolors of Mari Holland of Green Mountain, NC throughout the month of June. Mari and her family have encountered some major family problems and have had to temporarily relocate to another state to care for two very young grandchildren. This exhibit/sale of Mari’s work is held in support of Mari and her family with all funds raised from the sale of Mari’s beautiful watercolors going directly to Mari and her family.
